Bedford-Stuyvesant, is a large neighborhood in central Brooklyn. The historically black neighborhood has been at the center of discussions about equity and gentrification as many long time residents have been forced out as housing prices rise. Newer, micro neighborhoods have been coined through the process of gentrification. Along the Fulton Street corridor, there has been significant new development, particularly as Crown Heights has gentrified as well. At the Western edge of Bed-Stuy is Clinton Hill and the Pratt Institute. The neighborhood is primarily serviced by the (G) and along the southern side of the neighborhood, the (A) and (C), and the (J) and (M) along the north.
