This Red Hook playground didn't have much to offer, and I kind of regret going.
We left after our kid tried using the monkey bars for the first time in his life and fell straight to the ground. This was user error and not the fault of the playground, although the playground itself was terrible too.
This was more popular among middle-aged men working out than it was as a playground. It's attached directly to the outdoor exercise equipment in the park and we were there at a popular time for men to workout. This wasn't really a problem, although they were listening to their music quite loudly.
The larger park is more oriented towards sports play than playgrounds with a concrete athletic field and basketball corps.
The playground area didn't have much shade or other amenities. The Red Hook Pool is across the street – but the physical separation by the street really disincentivizes a shared recreational experience.
Parks hasn't done a great job maintaining the playground either, and generally we were happy to leave.
The playground is named for Bush Street and Clinton Street, which intersect near the park, not for the Presidents of the United States.
